Twenty-three is Number One was a short-lived project started by three friends at Staffordshire University in 2007. The three were brought together by a shared love of weirdo and progressive sounds and in order to battle the madness induced by the prevalence of trad. rock being blasted at them from all corners. They only released one EP - A Dried Up Pumpkins Are Stored Here, and played only one show, but for those who witnessed it, it is forever etched in their memory.
